Diane Nye

Polestar Mentor, Polestar Educator, Franklin method teacher

Caterham, Surrey

Specialises in

Seniors, Osteoporosis, Movement rehabilitation, Functional fitness

Other influences over the years have been trainings with Gary Carter - anatomy and movement, and Anatomy Trains U.K. - structural essentials

Her strengths lie in her knowledge of the moving body - anatomy, biomechanics, arthrokinematics, with particular interest in the neuromuscular system which she combines with creative visualisation and imagery. Diane enjoys being able to make a subject "user friendly" and is skilled in modifying or creating exercises to achieve particular goals for both new students and advanced practitioners.

When she is not teaching Diane loves being outdoors and spending time hiking with her two dogs. She also loves to travel both within the Uk and abroad. Diane is also available for 1:1 sessions on Fridays at Moss Pilates King's Cross - please contact her directly using the link on this page.

Diane has been an educator for Polestar Pilates UK since 2009. Before teaching for Polestar, Diane worked in the aviation industry for 10 years whilst teaching fitness classes in her spare time. When she had her son in 1996, she changed her career to teaching exercise full time. Her first training in Pilates was in 1998 when she qualified as a Matwork teacher. In 2003 she qualified with Polestar to teach studio Pilates and set up a studio at her home in Surrey.
